- Become familiar with basic networking and computing terms, such as: ftp, server, and HTML commands and functions, including tables
- Apply basic elements of Internet design on Web pages
- Explore various Content creation techniques, including use of scanners and manipulation of images for the Internet
- Convert information in a variety of formats to Web formats
- Explore best practices in content creation for the web
- Organize and manage information content for optimum use on the Internet
- Gain experience in integrating, organizing, and managing all aspects of Web content involving a large number of pages and a great deal of content and diverse users into a useful whole
- Be familiar with best practices and techniques in developing and managing material for online classes
